ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
My name is Jessica Marcy. I am the face and heart behind Old Wisdom Wellness. Personally, I strive to live as close to nature as possible. I grew up in a home that revered the natural world, spending time hunting, fishing, foraging and generally hanging out in nature. I got a degree in Civil Engineering with the idea that I would have opportunities to work outside and on projects that would benefit the planet. While my work in environmental remediation is a start I felt the desire to do more, and began training as an herbalist.
In my practice, I follow the practice of holistic health. This means that I consider the entire person, not just the symptom(s) that they are seeking relief from. I seek to find the root cause of the issue(s) in order to help my clients truly find healing.
