CLASS TOPICS
Based on the book Your Body in Balance: The New Science of Food, Hormones, and Health by Neal Barnard, MD, FACC, this class addresses hormone-related conditions such as mood, anxiety, and depression. Dietary choices have a surprisingly powerful effect on hormones and the problems they cause. Evidence suggests that foods can help conquer moodiness and more serious mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression.
Foods and Mood will explain the nutritional science that makes a plant-based diet beneficial.
