Our SHERO: Jennifer Massey

Introducing our PALETTE SHEROES

We have a little something at Palette we call a SHERO, which is a member or other community partner who is able to help out with the financial side of membership. If you’re reading this, you’re in exactly the right place to meet an amazing individual who is committed to helping others to learn and grow. We’re so pleased to introduce you to Jennifer Massey!

Tell us who you are and what is your business. What is your business’s mission?
I’m Jennifer Massey, Founder & CEO of Integra HR, LLC. We are an HR consulting and training and organizational development firm. Our mission is solving problems for businesses, doing what is right and helping our community. We help owners, leaders and businesses navigate the complexities of human resources and their people so they can focus on their core business. Integra also provides training on “essential skills,” like management and leadership, corporate culture, managing change, conflict resolution, communication, and productivity to enhance the skills of our client’s teams and increase the efficiency of those organizations.

Why did you decide to become a Palette SHERO?
I believe in giving back and supporting other professional women. I have had great mentors and support during my career, and I am passionate about ensuring others have the support that is needed to succeed personally and professionally.

Why is giving back important to you?
It’s just who I am. I had a person tell me that I wasn’t meant to go to college and that maybe I would just have to settle and give up my dreams and aspirations. That challenge made me who I am and I am grateful. At that very young age, I vowed and committed to myself that I would support others in their quest to reach their dreams and goals.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever gotten?
Learn the business of the organization you work for and not just focus on your area of expertise. It has served me well, opened up doors, and allowed me to learn beyond HR.

Is there anything else you’d like to share?
I am grateful to have the opportunity to be part of this community and I look forward to a prosperous 2024 and beyond!
