RESILIENCE AND ADVOCACY BY JENNIFER HENDRICKS-FOGG

When people ask what I do, I usually laugh because the answer isn’t simple—I wear a lot of hats. I’m an Aflac Benefits Advisor, a Certified Special Needs Empowerment Coach, a speaker, an author, and the President of the Logan Strong Foundation. But at the end of the day, everything I do comes back to one thing: resilience and advocacy.

What lights me up is helping people turn hard stuff into hope. Whether it’s a parent trying to navigate the special needs world, a business figuring out employee benefits, or a family staring down childhood cancer—I get to step in and say, “You don’t have to do this alone.” That’s my why.

This year, I’ve taken on some big, fun (and a little scary!) challenges. I’m dancing in Capital Region Dancing with the Stars—yes, an actual ballroom competition—with every step raising money for the Logan Strong Foundation. We also launched our LSF Bonfire Campaign, so you can literally wear your support and spread awareness everywhere you go.

On top of that, I’m creating things I wish existed when Logan was first diagnosed:

• A children’s book series about Ocho, the brave little octopus—Logan’s hospital buddy who became his sidekick through surgeries, therapies, and the scariest days of our lives.

• A brand-new podcast, We All Have Our Sht*—because let’s be real, we all do. I’ll be talking about resilience, caregiving, and the messy-beautiful parts of life we don’t always say out loud.

Life has taught me that surviving isn’t enough. We’re meant to recover, and eventually, thrive. That’s the heartbeat behind everything I do—my coaching, my foundation, my book Tiny Miracles, and now these new projects. If you take one thing from my Pro Talk, let it be this: your story matters, and life isn’t about what happens to you, it’s what you do with it that matters.
